Allingham off 11 and Enos off 18, took on Appleson off 22 and Mair off 18. Allingham delayed by minibus vomiting incident and subsequent clean up operation. Match started on 4th. Enos hampered by his personal golf and lifestyle manager breaking down his grip, and his confidence, and forgetting to build both back up again, something that as a P.E teacher, Enos will recognise as poor practice. Appleson and Mair surged ahead, went 1 up, two up, 3 up, 4 up. Allingham, a little under par, not literally, had to rely on Enos to stem the bleeding with a par at 10th to win the hole. Mair had to leave to go to an excellent dinner at L'Escargot Bleu. Snail and goats cheese tart followed by shin of beef and tarte tatin, washed down by 3 bottles of Bordeaux, in case you're asking. Unperturbed, Appleson finished match off by winning the long 13th and the par 5 14th to claim a 6 and 5 victory.
Beautiful evening, felt like the first day of Spring, turns out it wasn't even the last day of winter.
