Braid Hills. Sunday 4th May 2014

A very exciting match at the Braid Hills on Sunday morning saw Appleson & McFarlane take on Enos and Prosser. On the front 9 Enos and Prosser were on fire and raced to a 3 hole lead at the turn. McFarlane started the back 9 with two pars to bring the score back to 1 down and it stayed this way until the 17th when a missed putt tied the match all square. The 18th was nervy but Appleson sunk a short putt to win the match and the medal, despite a heroic effort from Enos to tie the match with a long putt hitting the flag. An awesome match on a superb course in great conditions.
